Description
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize fabrication processes to improve SQCD performance.
- Lead shopfloor layout changes and implement Lean improvements.
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, and training programs.
- Specify and manage new equipment requirements and CAPEX projects.
- Introduce automation to reduce errors and labor costs.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process non-conformances.
- Collect and analyze process data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on trials, process changes, and operator training.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3-5 years' experience in high-mix, low-volume or batch manufacturing.
- Proficient in CAD design and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with PPM, installations, and fault diagnosis across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, TPM, or similar methodologies.
- Strong initiative, reliability, and ambition to grow into senior leadership.
