Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire

A leading FM provider is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support a high-profile PFI healthcare contract in Halifax. This is a key commercial role focused on lifecycle, reactive, and small-works projects within a live hospital environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial aspects of lifecycle and variation works under a PFI contract.
  • Prepare, price, and negotiate variations and compensation events.
  • Support monthly cost/value reconciliations, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement and payment processes.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and support lifecycle planning and benchmarking.


Requirements:

  • Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within PFI, FM, or healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contracts.
  • Proficient in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (MRICS desirable).
  • Familiarity with systems such as Maximo, COINS, or Oracle is advantageous.

  • Strong communicator with stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working in a live NHS setting.
