The Role:
As Art Teacher you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4 (and possibly KS5 for the right candidate)

  • Plan and prepare lessons that stretch and challenge students of all abilities

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment and foster a love of visual arts

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental development

  • Contribute to extra-curricular Art activities and promote creativity across the school

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge in Art (fine art, textiles, photography, graphic design etc)

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for art, creativity and helping students develop their artistic voice

  • Experience teaching at KS3/KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)

  • Reflective, committed and keen to contribute positively within a forward-thinking department
