Job Title: MIG WelderLocation: Gosfield, EssexRemuneration: Up to £30K per annum (with overtime potential)Contract Details: Permanent, 40 hours per week (Mon-Thurs: 7:30-16:30, Fri: 7:30-13:30)
Responsibilities:
- Work independently or within a team of 2, reporting to the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor.
- Weld and fabricate the main body-build of car transporters.
- Undertake MIG welding according to production drawings.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and maintain all welding equipment, including personal air-fed helmets.
- Contribute to the delivery of the department's production plan, ensuring allocated times are met.
- Exhibit excellent planning and organisation skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Use your initiative to plan your own work and allocate time accordingly.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
About the Role:Join our dynamic team as a MIG Welder! We're looking for candidates with welding and fabricating experience, but don't worry if you're still honing your skills - we provide on-the-job training! ??
- Must be capable of MIG welding in all positions on 5 mm material and have the ability to read CAD drawings (a definite advantage!).
