Are you an experienced Section Engineer with a strong background in rail and civil engineering projects? We are working with a leading national infrastructure contractor on a high-profile long-term framework, and they are looking to expand their dynamic site team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a growing presence across the UK rail and civils sector. The successful candidate will take a key role in project delivery, working on a range of structures, bridges, and general civils schemes within a rail environment.Key Responsibilities:* Manage and oversee engineering activities on site* Set out works accurately in accordance with project specifications and drawings* Supervise subcontractors and site operatives to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standard* Maintain and complete site documentation including ITPs, RAMS, and quality records* Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery* Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in delivering works on time and within budgetRequirements:* Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering* Proven experience as a Section Engineer on rail and/or heavy civils projects* Proficient in setting out using modern equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality assurance* PTS certification (preferred but not essential - can be arranged)What's in it for you?* Long-term framework work in a growing region* Competitive salary and benefits package* Career progression with a leading infrastructure contractor* Supportive team environment and excellent safety cultureIf you would like more information, or to apply in confidence, please feel free to contact Jamie Nicholson using the details provided, or alternatively, please click the "apply now" link.
