- Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Carry out health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues are corrected.
- We are focused on the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, acting to rectify issues, and taking the lead on the escalation process if necessary. Also, ensure that all non-conformances are identified and corrected.
- Managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing.
- Monitored, agreed on, and approved Takeover tests with the project team.
- Ensure that the required project documentation meets our specifications and that the information for taking over is approved.
- Working as an active member of one or more project teams with one or more of our contractors.
- Have an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or background in a similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites or an SMSTS qualification can be offered as part of the role if the holder is not currently holding it.
- Understand design, construction, and operations within industries like the wastewater sector.
- Have a background in project delivery and integration within the construction sector.
- Be confident in communicating with various levels of stakeholders.
- Competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- Car allowance of £4,500 per annum.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
