Join a leading Tier One contractor delivering major infrastructure projects for Thames Water. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment schemes across the region, working closely with project, construction, and design teams on projects of significant scale and impact.

What you'll be doing

路Supporting the Project Manager in coordinating plant design, engineering, and procurement activities.
路Ensuring information is delivered on time to support construction, commissioning, and project handover.
路Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within tender or agreed variations.
路Preparing and submitting applications for payment on time.
路Contributing to contract reviews, monthly forecasting, and reporting.
路Building and maintaining strong relationships with Thames Water representatives and wider stakeholders.
路Assisting with developing and maintaining project management strategies and delivery plans.
路Supporting the production of contract programmes and progress reports.
路Providing information for O&M manual production and project close-out documentation.
路Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams on design, procurement, and technical issues.
路Monitoring subcontractor performance and compliance.
路Ensuring all documentation, filing systems, and governance requirements are maintained.
路Evaluating innovative solutions and supporting safe, efficient design development.
路Addressing risk and opportunity actions monthly.
路Ensuring designs and solutions are safe to construct, commission, and operate.
路Supporting the capitalisation process and handover documentation.
路Maintaining a positive, collaborative approach and representing the contractor professionally at all times.
路Taking responsibility for your own ongoing CPD, keeping up to date with industry innovation and standards.

What you'll bring

Experience


路Background in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (essential).
路Experience delivering engineering solutions within water or wastewater treatment projects.
路Understanding of NEC contracts and contract management processes.
路Experience with supply chain coordination and expediting.
路Knowledge of CDM, site safety, and construction practices.
Qualifications

路HNC or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline (minimum).
路Professional qualifications (IEng / CEng / membership of relevant bodies) are advantageous but not essential.
