Procurement Officer

Location: Office-based, Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Procurement Officer with 3 to 5 years of experience to manage purchasing activities across the business. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support internal teams through effective purchasing strategies. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and price comparisons are essential. Fluency in Italian or German is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms
  • Process and manage purchase orders within policy and budget
  • Use MS Excel for price comparisons, cost tracking, and procurement analysis
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues as needed
  • Conduct market research to support procurement planning
  • Work with planning and logistics teams to manage inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align on purchasing needs

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with procurement/ERP systems; INFOR M3 is an advantage
  • Understanding of procurement regulations and best practices

  • Effective collaboration across departments
  • Ability to manage procurement data and reporting with accuracy
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency on Excel in addition to ERP systems
