We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our client’s business on a temp to perm basis. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for flexibility in their work hours, with options for both part-time and full-time employment. As the sole Accounts person, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain and manage all financial records, including invoices, bank statements, and receipts.
- Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
- Use Sage to maintain records and prepare reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and have confidence in your work.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
