This role will see the suitable candidate carry out a range of general and specified machining tasks on lathes, mills, jig borers and grinders. The ideal candidate will have time management skills, working to strict deadlines, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

The Role:

  • Use a range of machinery including lathes, mills, jig borers and grinders to perform repairs to customer equipment in accordance to approved technical data and order requirements
  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery as required
  • Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
  • Removal and installation of bushings, bearings, cups, liners as required

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the aerospace industry advantageous but not essential
