The Role of Deputy Maanager:
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional person-centred care, ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and growing the branch through quality service delivery and business development. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Regional Operations Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving performance, managing care teams, and expanding the client base.
Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager include:
Maintain high-quality care standards across all packages
Support compliance with CQC requirements and internal company policies
Supervise recruitment and retention strategies to build a reliable care team
Promote the service to CCGs, case managers, and local authority commissioners
Oversee assessments, quoting, and safe delivery of complex or domiciliary care packages
Build positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and external professionals
Identify and act on opportunities to expand services without compromising care quality
Requirements for the Deputy Manager:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a care management, complex care, or domiciliary role
Understanding of CQC inspection criteria, KLOEs, and governance frameworks
Commercially aware, with business development experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
A hands-on management style with a focus on quality and staff engagement
Strong recruitment and team-building skills
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
