Location: Harpenden
Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (Saturdays rare only if needed)

You'll be the technical expert within a team, diagnosing complex faults, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities of a Master Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles
- Lead and support other technicians in technical problem-solving
- Perform routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
- Complete electronic vehicle health checks and update service records accurately
- Liaise with service advisors and workshop controllers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing Jaguar Land Rover training and certification programmes
Skills and Qualifications for a Master Vehicle Technician:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Master Technician status with Jaguar Land Rover or another premium brand
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in a dealership or authorised service centre
Desirable:
- EV and hybrid vehicle certification
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians
- Familiarity with Jaguar Land Rover Topix and Pathfinder systems
