Head of Finance - Harrogate - up to £70,000 + Bonus

This isn't just about keeping the numbers in check-it's about taking ownership of a finance function that needs modernising and shaping for the future.

With multiple entities under one group, finance plays a crucial role in ensuring the business runs smoothly, scales effectively, and stays compliant. You'll oversee everything from management accounts and payroll to tax compliance and audits, while also advising senior leadership on strategic decisions, system improvements, and potential acquisitions. There's a small, capable team in place, but they need a leader who can bring structure, clarity, and commercial focus.

You'll be working directly with the senior leadership team, providing financial insight and ensuring key business decisions are backed by robust data. This role requires someone who is hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable challenging the status quo. Experience in a regulated business would be an advantage, but what really matters is your ability to drive change, manage financial controls, and improve processes. If you've got a strong grasp of audit, tax, and compliance, along with the leadership skills to develop a team, this could be the next step in your career.

With a salary of up to £70,000, plus a discretionary bonus, subsidised private medical insurance and other ad hoc perks this is an opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact. If you're a qualified financial controller who thrives on solving problems and improving systems, let's have a conversation.
