Residential Property Conveyancer
(Full-Time | 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays)
We are seeking an experienced and driven Residential Property Conveyancer to lead a busy and well-established residential conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive, multi-discipline legal practice at an exciting stage of growth.
The successful candidate will work independently, managing a diverse caseload of residential property files. This includes purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and home equity release plans, while providing a first-class client experience throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
Providing clear, expert advice and guidance to clients at every stage of the conveyancing process
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting searches, and handling the financial aspects of transactions
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and firm requirements
Contributing to the growth of the practice by developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
About You
Proven experience managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
Strong understanding of property law, contract law, and conveyancing procedures
Ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting deadlines
Excellent communication, organisational, and client-care skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to market services and generate new work
A relevant qualification in law or conveyancing is desirable but not essential
