About the Role:We are seeking an experienced HLTA or Qualified Teacher (QT) to join a fantastic primary school in Harrogate. The role will involve providing in-class support to Year 2 students, working alongside a teaching assistant to assist with the delivery of engaging and effective learning activities. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure that all students are supported in their learning and progress effectively through the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Year 2 students with their academic and social development.

  • Work alongside the classroom teacher and teaching assistant to deliver tailored learning experiences.

  • Help manage the classroom environment and support with behaviour management strategies.

  • Assist with planning and delivering small group interventions where necessary.

  • Provide feedback and updates on student progress.

About You:

  • Experience as an HLTA, or hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and relevant teaching strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a teaching team.

  • Passion for supporting students' learning and helping them achieve their potential.

Pay Scale:Up to M3 Pay Scale, dependent on experience and qualifications.
