Our client, a highly regarded and progressive accountancy firm based in Harrow, is looking for a driven and ambitious Graduate Trainee to join their tax department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong interest in tax to kick-start their career within a supportive and structured training environment.

The Role:As a Graduate Trainee in the Tax team, you will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of personal and corporate tax assignments. You will be fully supported in studying towards the ATT qualification, with the potential to progress onto the CTA designation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

  • Gathering and analysing financial data for tax compliance and advisory work

  • Supporting senior tax staff on planning and research projects

  • Drafting correspondence to clients and HMRC

  • Helping ensure tax filings and deadlines are met

  • Developing technical knowledge through both study and practical application

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A 2:1 degree (or predicted) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related discipline

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in tax

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation

  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
