Teaching Assistant - Primary - Harrow - £105 to £115 per day - Full-Time

A warm and welcoming primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, term-time role is ideal for someone who has worked in a UK primary setting and is confident supporting pupils with additional needs.

The school promotes a nurturing, values-led environment where children are encouraged to thrive both academically and emotionally. Staff work closely to provide inclusive learning, and pupils benefit from a broad and engaging curriculum.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Assisting with classroom preparation, behaviour management and interventions

  • Helping to create a calm and positive learning environment for all children

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school

  • Confident supporting children with SEN, including ADHD, autism or speech & language needs

  • Positive, reliable and proactive in the classroom

  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
