Maths Teacher

We're seeking a dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher to join our well-regarded Independent boys' school in Harrow on a temporary, part-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is a brilliant opportunity to foster a genuine love for mathematics and develop strong analytical skills in our bright young men across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students, catering to a wide range of abilities.
• It's about expertly guiding students through mathematical concepts, from the basics to more complex topics, following a well-structured and rigorous curriculum.
• You'll cultivate a supportive and encouraging classroom where students feel empowered to explore mathematical ideas, develop their reasoning, and build real confidence.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Maths lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A deep and current understanding of mathematical concepts, coupled with that ability to make the subject accessible and engaging for boys.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for fostering a positive learning culture.
