About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring, dedicated, and student-focused Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a high-performing college in the heart of Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to students studying Level 3 BTEC and/or A-Level Health & Social Care pathways.

You will play a key role in shaping learners' understanding of health, wellbeing, safeguarding, and care provision while supporting them to progress into higher education, apprenticeships, and careers within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 3 Health & Social Care courses

  • Create engaging lessons that bring theory to life and develop strong vocational understanding

  • Support students through effective feedback, guidance, and pastoral care

  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuing improvement of departmental standards

  • Participate in enrichment, open days, and cross-college initiatives

About You

  • Must have delivered up to at least Level 3 Health and Social Care

  • Must be IQA certified and know the NCFE and BTEC curriculum
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd/QTS/QTLS) or willingness to work toward one

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusive learning

  • Enthusiasm for inspiring young people and supporting their progression
