Role Overview:

Working within a collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in digital hardware engineering to design, verify, and integrate complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret customer requirements
  • Design and modify digital hardware architectures
  • Develop and simulate test benches using industry-standard tools
  • Contribute to technical reviews and design validation activities
  • Maintain strict configuration control throughout the development lifecycle
  • Perform hardware integration and system commissioning
  • Support manufacturing and test teams during build and validation phases

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Digital Circuit Design: Expertise in logic gates, flip-flops, and state machinesFPGA & ASIC Development:
  • Experience in designing and implementing FPGAs and ASICsHDL Proficiency:
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL and/or VerilogEmbedded Systems:
  • Familiarity with microprocessor and microcontroller architecturesMixed-Signal Design:
  • Understanding of ADCs, DACs, and analog/digital interfacesHardware design and verification against formal requirements
  • Experience in requirements capture, work package planning, and effort estimation
  • Competence in both analogue and digital hardware design modifications
  • Practical experience with system-level hardware commissioningUnderstanding of RTCA/DO-254 development processes (preferred)Working Conditions:
