Working Hours: Must be able to work all 3 shift patterns below
- 06:00-14:30
- 14:00-22:30
- 22:00-06:30
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to join our client's production team in Hastings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a team, and contributing to a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Main Duties:
- Operating production machinery and extruders in line with work instructions and procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards
- Carrying out basic machine set-ups and assisting with changeovers for new works orders
- Monitoring production and reporting any faults or issues to the Technician or Team Leader
- Ensuring machinery is operated safely and kept clean and well maintained
- Completing production records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Transferring finished goods to the warehouse and ensuring raw materials are correctly received and allocated
- Supporting quality, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
- Assisting with trials and additional tasks as required by the business
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment required
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects
- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on, active role
- Willingness to learn and undertake ongoing training
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Driving license and own transport preferred
