We are currently working with a well respected main contractor with a turnover of400m and a strong national presence across sectors who are looking for a building services manager to deliver a fast paced9 M&E industrial scheme in Hertfordshire. Reporting to a regional MEP lead, you will act as the sole MEP manager for the project, getting involved from an early stage of the scheme, going to site in the coming months to manage and motivate the specialist MEP subcontractors to completion.
Duties
- Oversee M&E installations by specialist sub-contractors
- Report directly to the Principal Building Services Manager
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
- Support commissioning and final handovers
- Deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient building services
Ideal Candidate
- Recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- BS and/or Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience managing M&E on large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of current building services regulations and best practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
