Sonic Summary
- We are looking for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to support schools in Hatfield and surrounding areas of Hertfordshire.
- Candidates must have at least two years of experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting.
- The role involves assisting teachers, managing classrooms, and providing one-on-one support to children from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
- A competitive salary is offered, and candidates must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

Suitable candidates will drive and be willing to support at a variety of schools.
The hours are typically 8:30am - 3:30pm, although we also work with nurseries that require ad hoc support.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons for EYFS children.
Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Helping with the preparation of learning resources and activities.
Providing one-on-one support to children, both academically and emotionally.
Assisting with assessments and tracking the progress of students.
Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children with their social and emotional development.
Essential Requirements:
DBS on the update service (this is a must) or willing to apply for a new DBS.
Two years of employment references.
Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work documentation required).
Experience working with children, ideally in an early years setting.
A friendly, patient, and caring nature with a passion for working with young children.
Desirable but not essential:
Paediatric first aid qualification.
Experience in supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN).
