An established charitable organisation is currently looking to recruit a Supported Housing Officer based in the Hatfield area on a temporary to permanent contract.

Location: Hatfield and surrounding areasHours: 37.5 per weekShifts: Shifts will be a mix of 8-4, occasional 10-6 and 2-10 with 1 in 4/5 weekends workingPay: Up to £16 per hour umbrellaDuration: Temporary to permanentDuties:• Manage a case load of clients within the supported living environment• Deliver emotional and life skills based support, assisting service users with day to day tasks• Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears• Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting• Carry out regular estate inspections• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies • Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups

Additional requirements:• Experience of providing tenancy support to vulnerable people, particularly homeless client groups• An enhanced DBS check from within the last 3 years or willingness to obtain• Excellent communication skills and basic IT skills are essential• Due to this role being across multiple projects, a driver is essential for this role
