Logistics / Warehouse Assistant 

£25,000 per annum 

Havant 

Full time / Temporary/  Monday to Friday 8.00am -4.30pm Monday - Thursday with a 1.00pm Friday finish

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Logistics Assistant  to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to support the manufacturing activity, providing a goods inward service for materials and equipment and a despatch service for finished goods

In return, our client is offering a salary of £25,000 depending on experience.

This role is full-time and temporary. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm with a 1.30 finish Friday

Your responsibilities will include:

• To ensure that products reach the external customer on time and the goods are packed and loaded in a quality manner so that there is no damage during transit
• Check goods in as they arrive, inspecting them against delivery notes and orders, and stamping them as checked, reporting damage/discrepancies.
• Booking goods on to the system.
• Moving goods into the allocated storage area

• Experience within a logistics department in a manufacturing environment.
• Operating a pallet truck & forklift
• Has experience using hand tools
