Our client has a new exciting role for an experienced Maintenance/Technical Operator, to work for one of the best manufacturing companies in the Portsmouth area, who pay competitive salaries, excellent benefits and a great working environment

To support production operations with the assembly and maintenance elements of our client’s product ranges, for this role the ideal will have a manufacturing maintenance background.

Hours: Double Days, Monday – Friday – 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm alternating weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • To have the ability to perform first line fault finding, basic equipment calibration, set up and routine maintenance.
  • Maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
  • Be able to read, understand and follow all required documentation. Ie. SOP’s, QCP’s, Product and Technical drawings.
  • To achieve the targets and quality standards set out by Production Management.
  • Have the ability to work with cross functional and mixed ability teams.
  • Provide daily support to meet customer’s daily expectations
  • Ensure that regular communication is maintained with the Production Leader to advise of any issues adversely affecting your performance, any quality/equipment issues must be raised in a timely manner.
  • Ensure critical issues are quickly recognised and resolved.
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
