We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering team, assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with detailed work instructions and technical drawings. This hands-on role is key to ensuring that final products meet functional requirements, specifications, and high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and experience with hand tools and assembly equipment used in engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components into final products, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and efficiently
  • Follow technical drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions
  • Inspect assemblies to confirm proper functionality and adherence to standards
  • Identify and report defects or issues during the assembly process
  • Support the creation and refinement of work instructions
  • Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and quality
  • Perform basic maintenance on assembly equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to achieve production targets
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation in line with HSE requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar engineering assembly role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with hand tools, measuring equipment, and light machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
