Prospero Teaching are seeking passionate and qualified QTS Tutors to support young people across primary, secondary, and college age in the Havant area. We provide bespoke 1:1 tuition designed to help learners reach their full potential-both academically and socially.
As a Tutor, you will:
- Deliver personalised learning sessions in core subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.) tailored to each student's needs.
- Support learners who may be disengaged from mainstream education, helping them re-engage and thrive.
- Work with students who may have SEN, SEMH, or other barriers to learning, using creative and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Help learners achieve their GCSEs, functional skills, or other educational goals through structured and supportive tuition.
About you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working with vulnerable learners or those with additional needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- A commitment to helping young people achieve both academic success and personal growth.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
