iMultiply are excited to be partnering with a growing and highly successful business in Hawick who are now looking for an Interim Management Accountant, with the possibility to turn this to a permanent role. This is full time 37,5 hours per week with a hybrid set up.

Job Title: Interim Management Accountant

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Location: Hawick

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial analysis.
  • Produce accurate financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage daily financial operations and respond to ad hoc finance queries.
  • Oversee and process inventory checks through the ERP system.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports (e.g. cash flow, sales, inventory).
  • Collaborate with other departments on business projects and process improvements.

Skills Required:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to a positive team culture.
