Exciting Opportunity for an Area Manager - HVAC Industry!
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We are working with a fantastic client who is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations within the HVAC industry.



The Role


As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operation, performance, and compliance of multiple sites within your designated region. You will oversee service and maintenance teams, drive operational efficiency, and ensure high standards of service delivery within the HVAC sector.



What You'll Be Doing:


  • Managing HVAC service and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality standards across multiple sites.

  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance schedules, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency.

  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

  • Driving operational performance by implementing best practices and improving service levels.

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Managing budgets and contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

  • Identifying and implementing energy-efficient solutions to optimize system performance.

  • Mentoring and developing engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor standards, compliance, and operational effectiveness.


What We're Looking For:


  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance, and compliance standards.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams, driving performance, and mentoring engineers.

  • Operational Knowledge: Ability to optimize service delivery and improve efficiency.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Quick decision-making and analytical thinking to resolve issues effectively.

  • Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of contract management, budgeting, and cost control.

  • Communication Skills: Able to engage effectively with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Proven experience in an Area Manager, Contracts Manager, or Regional Manager role within the HVAC industry.

  • Technical background in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical engineering.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.


Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential, but a Bonus!):


  • HVAC-specific certifications (FGas, 18th Edition, Gas Safe, etc.)

  • Project management experience within HVAC or facilities management

  • Energy efficiency and sustainability expertise
