You will be responsible for high-precision grinding of aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work to fine limits, and a solid understanding of grinding processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate grinding machines to fine tolerances.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Read and understand technical drawings.
Perform cylindrical and surface grinding on components.
Experience & Skills
Extensive experience in internal and external grinding (essential).
Experience with cylindrical and surface grinding machines.
Aerospace experience preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of CNC grinding is advantageous.
Strong team player with a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement.
Must have the full right to live and work in the UK.
Shift: Double days (Monday to Friday)
Week 1 6am - 2pm
Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
Pay:
From 29,900 + Shift allowance (3,920)
