This exciting opportunity is based at an Ofsted-rated Good College that prioritises inclusive education and learner success. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring students with SEND and low needs receive high-quality, effective support throughout their education journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality SEND and inclusive learning support across the college.

  • Manage staff supporting learners with EHCPs, High Needs, and other SEND requirements.

  • Oversee administration, funding applications, provision, and annual reviews for EHCP learners.

  • Collaborate closely with curriculum leaders to embed inclusive learning across all departments.

  • Maintain high standards through quality assurance processes, coaching, and staff development.

  • Act as SENCO, liaising with local authorities and contributing to support funding claims.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and external partners to drive innovation in inclusive learning.

Requirements:
  • Degree or minimum Level 4 qualification in a relevant area
  • Minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
  • Experience in SEND teaching and managing inclusive provision in Further Education
  • Deep knowledge of the 2014 SEN Code of Practice and EHCP processes
  • Proven leadership, quality assurance, and team management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and equality practices
