This exciting opportunity is based at an Ofsted-rated Good College that prioritises inclusive education and learner success. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring students with SEND and low needs receive high-quality, effective support throughout their education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality SEND and inclusive learning support across the college.
Manage staff supporting learners with EHCPs, High Needs, and other SEND requirements.
Oversee administration, funding applications, provision, and annual reviews for EHCP learners.
Collaborate closely with curriculum leaders to embed inclusive learning across all departments.
Maintain high standards through quality assurance processes, coaching, and staff development.
Act as SENCO, liaising with local authorities and contributing to support funding claims.
Work closely with senior leadership and external partners to drive innovation in inclusive learning.
Requirements:
- Degree or minimum Level 4 qualification in a relevant area
- Minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
- Experience in SEND teaching and managing inclusive provision in Further Education
- Deep knowledge of the 2014 SEN Code of Practice and EHCP processes
- Proven leadership, quality assurance, and team management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality practices
