Are you a proactive and detail-driven procurement professional looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a talented Buyer to join our clients dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you'll play a key role in managing purchasing operations, building supplier relationships, and contributing to supply chain efficiency.

Description of the role:

  • Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships through clear and consistent communication.
  • Raise, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with vendors to maximise value.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively prevent shortages or delays.
  • Evaluate suppliers and suggest improvements to strengthen the supply chain.
  • Mitigate risk by flagging and addressing potential backorder issues.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
  • Review and approve invoices, resolving any discrepancies.

About you:

  • 1-3 years of procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
  • Hands-on use of MRP/ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • CIPS qualification or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
