JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Band 6 Dispensary Pharmacist or an ACT Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Sussex? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

  • Job Title: Dispensary Pharmacist or ACT Pharmacy Technician (Band 6)

  • Location: Sussex, NHS Hospital

What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a Dispensary Pharmacist/ACT and play a key role in supporting the hospital's dispensary operations. In this role, you will:

  • Perform clinical accuracy checks on prescriptions

  • Support the dispensary team in day-to-day duties

  • Ensure safe and efficient processing of medicines

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration (or ACT qualification for technicians)

  • Previous hospital dispensary experience

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • The ability to work independently within a busy dispensary

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 with a 1-hour break. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
