Our client is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join their community pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established pharmacy where you will play a crucial role in providing expert healthcare advice, dispensing medication, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Working days: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri & Sat (Wed & Sun off)
Key Responsibilities:
- Check dispensed prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications and over-the-counter products.
- Deliver essential pharmacy services, including NHS and private services such as flu vaccinations and health checks.
- Offer tailored healthcare advice to patients and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and assistants.
- Maintain stock control and oversee ordering of medications.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare.
Requirements:
- Qualified and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting (preferred but not essential).
