Our client is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join their community pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established pharmacy where you will play a crucial role in providing expert healthcare advice, dispensing medication, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

Working days: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri & Sat (Wed & Sun off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check dispensed prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications and over-the-counter products.
  • Deliver essential pharmacy services, including NHS and private services such as flu vaccinations and health checks.
  • Offer tailored healthcare advice to patients and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and assistants.
  • Maintain stock control and oversee ordering of medications.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Qualified and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting (preferred but not essential).
