HYDRAULIC FITTERHECKMONDWIKEDAYS - SITE BASED + OCCASIONAL INSTALLS & MAINTENANCE AT CUSTOMERS SITES

We are looking for a motivated mechanical/hydraulic fitter to join a market leading manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • In-House build & testing of hydraulic assemblies and systems (HPU's, manifolds and cylinders)
  • Installation of mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearings
  • Fault finding on hydraulic & mechanical equipment, identifying the root causes and implementing the repairs required. Whether they occur unexpectedly (reactive) or as part of planned maintenance and devising effective solutions.
  • Off-Site service and installations at customer sites. This may involve overseas travel occasionally

Skills and Qualifications

  • Mechanical apprenticeship or level 3 Mechanical qualification
  • UK Driving License
