We're working with a specialist SEN school in Watford seeking a compassionate and skilled ASD Teacher to join their team.
The school supports pupils aged 7-16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated communication and sensory needs, offering a highly structured and positive setting.
The role:
Teaching small classes of pupils with ASD, following individual learning plans
Working closely with therapists and support staff
Creating lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and tailored to pupils' needs
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
ASD/TEACCH/PECS certification or relevant SEN training desirable but not essential
Empathy, patience, and a creative approach to teaching
Details:
Location: Watford
Pay: 150-250 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Full-time, long-term position
