The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with autism, ASD, and ADHD, including experience writing reports and attending tribunals. Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as a SENCo or in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • 2 recent and proven professional references
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children's life chances through education
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Have a 'can-do' attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate patience, passion, and professionalism.
  • To ensure that the responsibilities of the role are carried out in a way which reflects the mission and the values of the Trust To be aware of and observe all policies, procedures, working practices and regulations, and in particular to comply with policies relating to Child Protection, Safeguarding children, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Confidentiality, Data Protection and Financial Regulations, reporting any concerns to an appropriate person.   • Experience with 1:1 and small groups.
  • Lead the provision of special educational needs support within the school.
  • Coordinate the identification, assessment, and provision of support for students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
