TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a prestigious Top 25 accountancy practice with their continued expansion within the tax department. This is an exciting opportunity for a personal tax professional to join a dynamic and fast-growing team with exceptional exposure, training, and career progression prospects.

The Opportunity:

As part of a thriving personal tax team, you will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, assisting with compliance matters and advisory projects. You'll gain hands-on experience with a diverse client base, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to company directors, sole traders, and partnerships.

This firm is experiencing significant growth and is committed to investing in its team, both in terms of technical development and qualifications. The successful candidate will be supported through their ATT and/or CTA qualifications and offered a clear and structured pathway to progress within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for a wide-ranging client portfolio

  • Provide ad hoc tax advice and planning support alongside senior tax staff

  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

  • Assist with onboarding new clients and managing deadlines

  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry best practices

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working within a personal tax function in an accountancy practice is essential

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A desire to progress and gain ATT/CTA qualifications (support will be provided)

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to client service and personal development
