Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a client portfolio and review year-end accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Review corporation tax computations and VAT returns across different VAT schemes
  • Prepare and review management accounts to a high standard
  • Handle technical queries and software-related support for clients
  • Support junior staff through training, supervision, and workflow planning
  • Provide excellent client service and collaborate closely with senior management
  • Assist partners with ad-hoc project work and advisory support

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a practice setting
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Familiarity with software like CCH, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Alphatax is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong Excel and general IT skills
  • A genuine team player with leadership potential
