This respected and growing firm in Henley is looking for a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager to join their collaborative and high-performing tax team. You'll take the lead on a diverse portfolio of clients across personal and corporate tax, manage workflow, support junior staff, and play a hands-on role in advisory projects. Whether you're CTA qualified or nearly there, this is a brilliant opportunity to move into a more senior role without losing the balance that matters.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a varied tax portfolio (HNWIs, OMBs, SMEs)
  • Reviewing compliance work: personal tax, corporation tax, P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS etc.
  • Contributing to advisory and planning work alongside senior leaders
  • Supporting junior team members and overseeing day-to-day workflow
  • Working closely with the accounts and audit departments on shared clients
  • Liaising with HMRC and handling technical tax queries
