An innovative Accountancy practice based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxford, are recruiting for an experienced mixed Tax Manager to join their friendly and established team on a full time, permanent basis. The practice provides tailored tax advisory and compliance services to HNWI, SMEs and large corporations. The Tax Manager role is a key position within the firm and you will have the opportunity to develop tailored tax strategies and ensure compliance, regulations and tax laws are adhered to.

Tax Manager Job Overview
  • Managing a portfolio of mixed tax clients and their tax affairs
  • Manage HMRC enquiries;
  • Train and guide junior members of staff and manage the team workflow.
  • Corporation tax compliance for large and complex clients
  • Reviews of P11Ds and PSAs;
  • Manage technical tax advisory projects if desired;
  • Review personal tax returns and computations;
  • Work with the wider team in the practice, such as the accounts and audit team, as well as clients, management support and assisting with ad hoc tax queries
Tax Manager Job Requirements
  • CTA qualified or part qualified desirable
  • ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified with suitable tax experience will also be considered and consideration would be given to offering a CTA study package if desired.
  • Prior tax compliance experience
  • A mixed tax background
  • Prior team supervision experience and the desire to assist and develop junior staff members to fulfil their potential
  • Based locally to Henley-on-Thames, Oxford
Tax Manager Salary & Benefits
  • £65,000 - £70,000 dependent on skills and experience
  • Early mid-afternoon finish every Friday!
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements including flexitime and working from home following a successful probation.
