Live out Grounds Person Job in Oxfordshire
An opportunity for an experienced grounds person is available to work in both formal and informal gardens alongside the garden team. The candidate will be hard working and honest with a passion for working outdoors and in all weathers. Based mostly in the outer landscape of a formal garden the candidate will need to be self-starting and enthusiastic.
Lawn care including regular mowing (stripes and rides), hedge cutting of formal hedges, weeding, pruning and strimming will be part of the daily workload. All aspects of grounds maintenance will be expected to be understood and comprehensively covered. A full driving license is essential as is PA1 and PA6. We require a person who can work on their own initiative and who is self-motivated to feel pride in their work with an eye for detail and high standards. You will need to be energetic and physically fit.
Understanding of working and maintaining machinery to a good standard is essential.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 gross per annum, negotiable depending on experience
