We’re hiring for a CNC setter on behalf of a growing manufacturing business in Herefordshire — part of a successful, privately owned group undergoing major investment and change.
A hybrid role that blends precision engineering with quality control. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in CNC machine setting who has also been hands-on with quality inspection tasks.
What you’ll be doing as a CNC setter:

Setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture components to spec

Using measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings to inspect parts

Playing a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout production

Supporting continuous improvement within a forward-thinking team
What we’re looking for from a CNC setter:

Proven experience in CNC machine setting

Strong understanding of quality control processes

Confident using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)

Ability to work from engineering drawings with attention to detail
