We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor for our long-established client in Herefordshire. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload with autonomy and minimal supervision. If you are an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a background in wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney, this position could be your next career step.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage a comprehensive caseload of Private Client, Wills & Probate matters, including drafting wills, handling lasting powers of attorney, and overseeing probate processes.
Provide expert legal advice to individuals and families, ensuring all services are delivered with high professionalism and sensitivity.
Utilise data management systems and Microsoft Office Suite to maintain accurate and efficient records.
Develop business locally and contribute to the growth of the firm’s reach in the area.
Work self-sufficiently while also collaborating with the team to share knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Solicitor or Practitioner with substantial experience in Wills & Probate matters.
Demonstrable ability to handle a broad range of issues related to wills, lasting powers of attorney, and probate.
Business development skills with a keen interest in continuing growing the firm’s local presence.
Proficient in using data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive matters with professionalism and courtesy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
