I am currently recruiting for a Housing Options Officer based in Hertford.

Details On the role:
37 hours per week
15.00 per hour
Monday to Friday
8 months worth of work

Assessing received housing register applications for eligibility for the council's housing register and accurately assessing and awarding points according to the Housing Register and Allocations Policy.
To provide support to the Housing Options team for the generation and processing of all relevant paperwork relating to housing register applications and the provision of housing advice by the team.
Administering follow up work regarding missing or incomplete information from customers regarding their housing register application.
To provide initial assessment of housing advice regarding housing register applications to customers. Refer appropriately within the team for further advice where required.
Assist with the administration of the Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme and the nominations of applications to available social housing in line with our Housing Register and Allocations Policy.
Operate and update manual and computerised record systems including inputting and accessing data from the Housing Options systems
Undertake general administrative support duties; for example, photocopying, filing collation of outgoing mail, answering the phone.
Assist with the processing of invoices received and raising orders for the Housing Service.
