Maths Teacher - Hertford

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join a successful, Ofsted-rated 'Good' Secondary School in Hertford on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to a well-established Maths department and make a lasting impact on student progress.

The school is known for its positive learning environment, strong leadership, and a collaborative staff culture. As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest. Main Duties:

  • Teach Mathematics across a range of year groups in line with the national curriculum
  • Track and assess student achievement, providing effective feedback and adapting lessons accordingly

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong Maths subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
  • Organised, adaptable, and an excellent communicator
