Robertson Bell is delighted to be supporting a respected and well-funded international charity in their search for a Finance Officer to join their UK team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to take their first steps in finance and join a growing organisation with a strong global mission and a reputation for long-term impact.

The Role – Key Responsibilities:
  • Review staff expenses and credit card submissions ahead of month-end processing

  • Monitor and manage shared inboxes, ensuring emails are assigned appropriately

  • Support monthly tasks such as bank and balance sheet reconciliations and archiving

  • Prepare donor acknowledgement letters and help maintain Gift Aid records

  • Maintain accurate filing using SharePoint and other internal systems

  • Assist with donor management data reviews and help improve internal systems

  • Contribute to ad hoc projects such as digitising paper records and reviewing financial data

Person Specification:
  • Educated to A-levels or equivalent; degree desirable but open on subject

  • No previous finance experience required – strong admin or organisational experience a bonus

  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive attitude

  • Comfortable with Excel (e.g. reading/filtering reports, basic formatting)

  • Friendly, team-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Looking for someone excited to grow within the role
