This role offers the opportunity to take the reins of a refined, established kitchen within a premium venue already holding 2 AA Rosettes. You'll be stepping into a kitchen that has earned national recognition, but also one with room to evolve. The team understands the rosette journey and supports the right chef to lead it.

Head Chef Ideal Profile:

  • Proven background leading kitchens in 2 AA Rosette standard environments
  • Deep understanding of what is required to retain and progress AA Rosette recognition
  • Experience managing all aspects of a professional kitchen beyond cooking
  • Clear leadership style and ability to build, mentor and manage a strong brigade
  • Financially astute with experience in kitchen budgets, margins and cost control
  • Ambitious, with a strategic vision for taking a kitchen from 2 to 3 rosettes


Head Chef Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team in delivering consistently high standards across all services
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations
  • Drive the rosette strategy in line with senior leadership ambitions
  • Take ownership of menu development, innovation and supplier relationships
  • Maintain financial performance through smart stock control and staffing structures
  • Foster a collaborative and professional kitchen culture that supports retention and growth
